Neuroscience 2008, the 38th annual meeting of the Society for Neuroscience, is scheduled for November 15 - 19 in Washington, DC.

Scientists will congregate from around the world to exchange ideas and information addressing the diverse field of neuroscience. Through lectures, symposia, workshops and more, Neuroscience 2008 is an opportunity for learning and professional development.

Neuroscience Meeting Planner is Now Available
Navigate Neuroscience 2008: The Neuroscience Meeting Planner (NMP) is now available online. Use the NMP to search abstracts and create itineraries for the annual meeting. The downloadable and CD-ROM version of the NMP is unavailable this year.

Neuroscience 2008 Online Discount Registration is Open
Neuroscience 2008 online discount registration is available and remains open through the meeting. Before registering online, review our tips for optimizing browser performance. Members should have member ID numbers and passwords ready. To qualify for member rates, apply for membership by October 17 or renew online before registering.

Media registration and housing is open. Exhibitor registration and housing is open.

Call for Mentors
Interested in being a mentor at Neuroscience 2008? SfN’s mentoring program, supported by SfN's Professional Development, Mentoring, & Diversity Cluster, matches experienced professionals with students and early career professionals in neuroscience. Mentors who participate in the mentoring events at Neuroscience 2008 and commit to mentoring at Neuroscience 2009 will receive early housing benefits for the 2009 meeting in Chicago. Roommate Matching Forum is Open
